CAROLINE BOULE
PASSIONATE ENGINEER - DETERMINED SKIPPER
Caroline's competitive sailing journey truly began in university, racing with the Imperial College London's 1st team (ICSC1) on the British University Sailing Association circuit. ICSC1 dominated the South Central region twice and ranked 4th nationally. In 2020, as a PhD student at Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, she bought an International Moth, pushing herself into a season filled with adrenaline, work, and fun!
That's when she met Nicomatic, who became her first sponsor and together they started writing history.
After a short maternity leave in 2025, Caroline will be back to racing in 2026

MINI TRANSAT 2023
The objective was to race across the Atlantic solo, without assistance, or communication aboard a 6.50m Sam Manuard design fully boat that she imagined and built with Benoit. Following this race, she became the first woman to cross the Atlantic on a fully foiling boat even though the result was not there as the boat was still under development.
Les Sables - Les Açores - Les sables
After a complicated Mini Transat that taught her a lot, Caroline was more determined than ever to upgrade her boat, especially the electronic system and with a fully functioning boat, she started a new season where she split races and podiums with Benoit.
It was during the main race of the season (Les Sables - Les Acores - Les Sables) that she proved the full potential of her boat by beating the 24h record.
International Moth Sailing
On a student budget, Caroline learned how to foil on a Bladerider in August 2021 but when she started racing, quickly upgraded to a Mach 2 and after meeting Nicomatic, started racing on her Exocet in 2022. The moth class was an opportunity to learn from the best, gain technical skills and discover foiling. In 3 years she competed at different international events : The Malcesine Moth Worlds, the Quiberon European Championships, the French Nationals and the Foiling Week.
University sailing
During her university years at Imperial College London, Caroline was part of Imperial Blue, Imperial College Sailing Club's First Team racing on the British University Sailing Association (BUSA) circuit. Mainly Team Racing in Fireflies, they dominated the South Central Region two years in a row and came fourth at the Nationals. This took us them to the Top Universities Regatta in Qingdao (China) and other international races later.
